ROSAAC Annual meeting 2009 

The members of the ROSAAC Coalition had their annual meeting in Sura Mica, Sibiu, on the 2nd and 3rd of June, 2009. Asezamântul Nazaret, the Therapeutic Centre of Blue Cross Romania, hosted 15 representatives of 7 NGOs and their guests: staff of the Social Assistance Faculty from Babes Bolyai University in Cluj and members of the press.

The participants shared developments within their organizations, discussed how to increase visibility of services for the Romanian society and how to improve the cooperation among member organizations.

The apogee of the meeting consisted of the evening fellowship when both residents of the Therapeutic Centre and guests shared their lives and thoughts. All people get lost from time to time in their search for “real life”, ending in things that bring “death”. The ROSAAC organizations are united in their message of hope that “true life” is possible for each of us by divine grace.

ROSAAC organizations open for internships 

The ROSAAC organizations are offering their facilities and professional guidance for practical internships for University-students. The possibilities range from an internship from 1 up to 12 months. Depending on your study you receive support from either a qualified physician, psychologist, social assistant, priest or pastor within the organization of choice.

Objectives of this site 

• To inform persons with addiction problems, as well as their environment, about the offering that the ROSAAC organizations have.
• To inform our colleagues in the addiction-prevention and addiction-care field about the offering that the ROSAAC organizations have.
• To inform Universities and students about the possibilities for inspiring internships in the ROSAAC organizations.

ROSAAC organizations desire to offer their services to those not (yet) in need because of addiction (by means of prevention activities) and those suffering under the torments of addiction (by means of ambulatory-care, day-care and 24 hours / day-care). ROSAAC intends to be close and connected to their target groups. On this website you find a total overview of all our services spread out over various regions in Romania.
